KARACHI: Governor Sindh Ishrat ul Ibad has said that security monitoring cells will be established on 11 places in the Karachi including one on I.I.Chundrigar Road.
Governor Sindh was addressing at inaugural ceremony of the cleanliness drive at I.I Chundrigar road. He said the road will be made model for the other roads in the city.
He said cleanliness drive on the road has been divided in to eight parts and responsibility been given to eight banks by State Bank of Pakistan and Banking Association.
The Sindh governor said that surveillance system on the road will be established on government expenditure and will be linked to command and control center.
He didn’t inform about the other 10 places selected for security monitoring cell.
Talking on the occasion Acting governor State Bank of Pakistan Ashraf Wathra said that they had started same cleanliness drive back in 2007 but it could not be successful due to non cooperation of city district government.
Wathra said for the drive government assistance is necessary.
After the ceremony Governor Sindh inaugurated the cleanliness drive.
