ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have constituted a team to bring former Pakistan Army chief Pervez Musharraf to court during the hearing of an on going treason case against him on 31st March 2014.
The police team includes Senior superintendent Mustansir Feroz and 3 Station Head Officers of 3 police stations among others.
The team will bring Musharraf to court on 31st March and if the dictator refuses to show up, the team secures the right to arrest him.
The special court hearing the high-treason case had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Musharraf which will be implemented if he fails to appear before the court on March 31.
Petitions filed by Musharraf have been dismissed by the special court and he is expected to be indicted on March 31.
MUSHARRAF’s Mother in ICU
On the other hand, Pervez Musharraf’s mother, who has been in ill health for some time now, has been shifted from Dubai to Sharjah’s W. Wilson hospital after her condition suddenly worsened.
Doctors have said there is no update on her health yet but she is in the ICU, and are yet to give an update of whether or not she will be treated in Sharjah or Dubai.
There is no confirmation as to which family member is taking care of her as Musharraf is in Islamabad facing a court hearing. He has been informed of his mother’s health and that she has been moved to the hospital in Sharjah.
