KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) suspected its recently suspended leader Saleem Shahzad of being an informer to Scotland Yard (metonym for London Police), said renowned analyst Dr. Shahid Masood in a TV show.
Dr. Masood revealed that a parallel group within MQM is emerging with the passage of time besides claiming that MQM has deep leadership crisis within its ranks but there is a consensus on the personality of Altaf Hussain.
Dr. Masood also revealed that sources close to international establishment claim that MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain’s health is not well.
Speaking on a private TV channel show, he claimed that Sindh Governor Ishrat-ul-Ibad is a bridge between Pakistani establishment and MQM but now that bridge too is getting shaky.
It must be remembered that MQM’s founding member and writer of three books on MQM founder Altaf Hussain , Saleem Shahzad left MQM and vowed to expose corruption, extortion and death squads within the party ranks.
Later, the party also announced to suspend him for indefinite period of time.
