Miranshah: The first round of peace negotiations between the Tehree-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) shura and the committees formed by the government and the Taliban has been ended at unknown location here on Wednesday.
The committees of the government and the Taliban travelled to Miranshah via a helicopter from Peshawar and then proceeded to an undisclosed location to meet the TTP Shura.
The government committee comprises of Habibullah Khattak, Arbab Arif, Fawad Hassan Fawad and Rustam Shah Mohmand.
Federal Secretary Habibullah Khattak is leading the government committee, while Taliban committee led by Maulana Samiul Huqe.
According to reports, the members of government committee and the Taliban nominated committee chief Maulana Samiul Huque left here in a helicopter, while Maulana Yusuf Shah and other members of Taliban liaison committee left from Peshawar for North Waziristan.
This meeting was scheduled for yesterday but due to poor weather conditions, newly appointed Government committee was not able to fly to NWA.
