ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has given 24 hours deadline to Federal and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to recover 35 missing persons on Tuesday, media reported.
A three-member bench, led by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, conducted the proceedings of 35 missing persons’ case of Malakand Interment Centre.
The court was really furious as there have been 34 hearings already and there seem to be no progress at all in this case.
Attorney General Salman Butt asked for some time to work on this case.
On his request, the court adjourned hearing and gave 24 hours deadline to produce 35 missing persons.
Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry claimed that Army has removed those 35 missing persons from Malakand Interment Centre two years ago, when he was conducting the proceedings last year on December 10.
