LAHORE: Without naming anyone, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has alleged that some superior elements helped out organised vote rigging during the by-election in Punjab province.
The PTI chairman claimed that there is no possibility of transparent election in the country.
While addressing a press conference in provincial capital Lahore, Khan put vote rigging allegations on ruling political powers without naming anyone.
He indicated that he would meet the acting chief election commissioner over election rigging during by-election.
The leader of the political party ruling the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province, alleged the electoral board, the Election Commission of not fulfilling the Supreme Court (SC) order to hold transparent polls.
He said that no action had been taken even they went to the apex court, adding that the wrongdoings of ruling party could be uncovered if strict scrutiny conducted in four constituencies of Punjab.
Talking over famine-hit desert region of Sindh province, Khan said that Tharparker’s situation is the result of feudalism.
The PTI chief said that dialogues could not solve all the problems till the country put itself out of the US war.
