DHAKA: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Najam Shethi has said that Pakistan has to support India over Big 3 issue to get Cricket benefits.
decide whether it will follow its rules regarding Big 3 or wants to take benefits which are only possible by supporting India.
Talking to media in Bangladesh, the PCB chief said that nine boards had now decided to protect their benefits but he did not know why Pakistan not the Big Three.
Pakistan has to protect its benefits and politics should not be included in cricket, he said.
Sethi further said that he had discussed the issue with other boards regarding their standing on Big 3, adding that all of them had informed him that they were also against the issue but protected their benefits by supporting India in the Big three.
Now time has come that Pakistan should set its rules aside to support India in issue, Sethi added.
He said that broadcasters are happy with India because of its big market and strong economy. “Every country earns a lot if they play against India.”
