Washington: The United States of America is planning to allocate one billion dollars for Pakistan in its next budget of 2015, media reported.
The budget was sent to Congress on Tuesday. The total budget of $3.9 trillion has a small chunk of $46.2 billion dedicated to the State Department and US Agency for International Development. Countries which get assistance from US, like Pakistan and Afghanistan, get money from this fund.
This time the budget proposes $5.1bn for Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan which is way too less from previous years.
$ 1bn for Pakistan will have $280 million for Pakistan security forces and the rest will go for economic sustenance.
The Obama administration has devoted $2.6bn for Afghanistan operations and $1.5bn for Iraq.
