Miranshah: Four persons including former head of Taliban Shura committee and an important member of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Asmat Ullah Shaheen have been in an attack on a car by unknown assailants in Dargah Mandi area of North Waziristan here on Monday morning.
As per sources report, unidentified assailants ambushed a vehicle in Dargah Mandi area that killed the four passengers.
TTP sources have confirmed the report regarding killing of Azmat Ullah Shaheen and his three fellows.
The attackers fled from the scene while panic gripped the area after the incident.
The local residents shifted the bodies to the hospital.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the killing but a local security official blamed a rival militant group.
Shaheen, who was a member of the Taliban’s top council and was the leader of the Bhittani tribe, had a 10-million-rupee ($160,000) bounty on his head.
