KPK govt great move this time to attract world community


PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtun khuwa (KPK) Chief Minister (C M) Pervaiz khatak has approved to increase minorities quota in government jobs up to 100%.

This is second time that Government in KPK have increased minorities quota.

Through this decision the quota for minorities in government job which was stood at 1.5 % now it will of 3%. Earlier as he took up the CM post, he raised the quota 50% and it had become 1.5 %. Now again he has announced raise in the quota.

He has also announced off to create minority officer post in each district for solving minorities affairs in the province; in this regard he has directed concern staff to send him a summary.

He has announced this decision in a meeting with joint minority’s delegation including of Sikhs, Christians and Hindus in the headship of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) minority minister Suran Singh.

The delegation discussed all the problems, its solution in detail pertaining to minorities .

They also talked about welfare of Minorities. In meeting CM also took notice of abduction of Hindu teacher girl Sapna Rani and directed police to early recovery of girl and arrest of abductors.

CM said on the occasion that minorities are important part of our society and they have played important role in the development of the country.

Protection of minority’s lives and wealth are the constitutional and legal responsibility which is given to us by religion and state, he said.
