Washington: Motorola is offering $50 discount on Verizon Moto X using Moto Maker service just in time for holidays.
Motorola is offering is offering the device for $49.99 until December 31. The company has been getting into the Christmas spirit lately. Motorola offered a Cyber Monday discount on the Moto X that saw the smartphone sell out in under ten minutes – on two separate occasions.
It just released Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the Moto G and it’s bringing the Moto X’s excellent camera application to Verizon’s Motorola DROID ULTRA, DROID MAXX, and DROID MINI.
Motorola now announced a special deal for the Verizon Moto X. Customers can order the smartphone and personalize it using the Moto Maker customization website, which allows you to design and make your Moto X unique.
Motorola is offering this deal for a limited time, as it expires on December 31. This applies to both the 16GB and 32GB Moto X and brings its normally $99.99 or $149.99 price with a new 2-year contract down to $49.99 and $99.99 at checkout.
As a reminder, the Moto X features a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 HD AMOLED display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Motorola’s X8 Computing System on board, an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU), and 2GB of RAM to provide a snappy user interface. The smartphone ships with 16GB of internal storage.
Motorola has also packed a 10-megapixel CLEAR PIXEL rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, with the ability to record 1080p HD video. You’ll also find a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, which has the ability to capture 1080p video as well. The smartphone’s wireless connectivity options include 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with LE and EDR. It has a 2,200 mAh non-removable battery that will get up to 13 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time.
