Washington: Google is gaining momentum to launch is flagship smartphone Google Nexus 5, now new report indicate the November 1st launch.
The device have leaked several times in few months, and also rumored to launch on October 31. But now another report claims the November 1st launch.
Recently Evleaks posted Nexus 5 image in white variant and also reporting that the smartphone will officially launch on Nov. 1.
The image matches previous leaks that claimed the handset will have a large 5-inch 1080p Full HD display on its front. The white Nexus 5 will have a black front and a white colored soft grip back. We also see the expected high-end 8-megapixel rear camera.
The image also confirms the Nexus 5 is running a new version of Android, Android 4.4 KitKat. The tipster also posted a Nov. 1 release date. Google has not even announced an event yet, but this source usually provides concrete information.
The Nexus 5 is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 442 pixels per inch (ppi) and be the first device to launch with Android 4.4 KitKat. It is expected to be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. The handset will include an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. The smartphone’s wireless capabilities are expected to include a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, and GPS. The Nexus 5 will be offered in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants and use a 2,300mAh battery.
