LAHORE: Parliamentarian of National Assembly in Pakistan, Dr Farooq Sattar on Tuesday said Karachi operation is a political enmity of the Sindh government against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), The News Tribe reported.
Security forces should launch productive crackdowns against wanted and known terrorists to over restore peace in the city, talking to media persons at Lahore airport leader of MQM Farooq Sattar added.
He said the Sindh government, with MQM’s support, could save Karachi operation from turning into a failure.
Peace cannot be restored without eliminating safe heavens of terrorists and criminal bases from the city, MQM leader said.
He suggested that ongoing operation in Karachi should be made successful through cooperation between Punjab, central government and MQM.
