WASHINGTON: As we getting close to see the American technological giant Apple’s first device of this year, new images leaked regarding Apple 5S color and design.
A new report claims that Apple’s iPhone 5C won’t be the only iPhone to gain some color. New images of a gold iPhone 5S have leaked along with new specs.
Apple is expected to hold an event on September 10 where it will officially announce its next-generation flagship iPhone and a new low-cost iPhone that will reportedly be called the iPhone 5C.
The iPhone 5C will be the first iPhone to be released that will focus on the mid-range smartphone market; the company previously offered the prior year’s iPhone to address this market. The iPhone 5C is expected to be offered in multiple colors, have similar specs of the iPhone 5 and join the iPhone 5S in Apple’s smartphone offerings.
We recently reported that the iPhone 5S power, silence switch, and volume buttons leaked revealing a new Champagne color. It appears that Apple will indeed add this new color option, as images of the smartphone have now leaked. Apple looks set to add gold to its usual black and white iPhone color choices.
AppleInsider is also reporting that KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed some new information regarding the internals of the iPhone 5S. The analyst claims that Apple will upgrade the processor in the 5S and use a new A7 Quads Core system-on-chip design that will include 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It has reportedly been completely designed by Apple and is based on the ARMv8 architecture, which the analyst suggests will increase its efficiency by up to 20 percent.
The analyst claims that the rear camera will use the same sensor as the iPhone 5, but will be “tweaked,” use a larger f2.0 aperture lens and include dual-LED flash. The device expected to come with 13 mega-pixel camera.
iPhone 5S would come with 4.8 inch Super HD screen with Retina+ Sharp IGZO display.
Apple is also expected to ship the iPhone 5S with a fingerprint scanner, which the analyst claims will be embedded in a new sapphire glass home button. He’s also reporting that just like Apple added a 128GB iPad in February, it will also offer the iPhone 5S in the new storage capacity. He does not indicate whether Apple will drop the 16GB model in order to add the 128GB, or if the company plans on offering consumers four storage capacities.
The iPhone 5S S16 GB with contract is likely to start from $ 199 while a non contract device to cost somewhere around $ 599.
We’ve only got a few weeks to go before the rumored September 10 event where we should get all of these questions answered and more.
