Karachi: KUMAK put another brick to bring change in society. It is a youth based organization that is working to bring change in the society. It is a platform where the upcoming youth studying at Karachi University can give there handful time in discussing and solving problems of the society.
For this reason this organization set up a donation camp to facilitate needy and deprived students and children, here at the Safari Park on Sunday.
Splash and Books Shack collaborate to set up the camp and drag it to be successful. A large number of students and other people of every field contribute in this good deed. They donated second hand course books, toys, clothes and money to support the cause.
Tauseef Mallick of KUMAK told media that these donations would go to the impoverished students and children so that they carry on their studies. He further explains the motive of this organization that it is a nonprofit youth organization being run by the students to promote nation building among Pakistani citizens.
Apart from this, there are other social activists going on under the flag on KUMAK including visits to government hospitals for distributing other requisites, holding motivational lectures in different schools in destitute areas, arranging plantation campaigns, cleaning up roads and publishing a monthly newsletter, ‘Umeed-e-Sahar’.
He also added that the hardworking students and enthusiastic youth is behind the success of KUMAK.
