The sources said that many decisions regarding meeting with Indian dignitaries would be taken closer to the date of Zardari’s visit.
Indian media reports say that the president would visit Indian on April 8, however Islamabad has not confirmed the date yet.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had earlier invited both President Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to visit India for last year’s World Cup match in Mohali.
The Pakistan president had last met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Russia in 2009.
