Islamabad: Reshuffle in Pakistan’s federal cabinet is expected on May 02, as all has been set between Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League (Q), sources said on Saturday.
The close sources of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q) said that Chaudhary Pervez Ilahi is expected to be given charge of Pakistan’s vice Prime Minister, and summary in this regard has been dispatched to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
While, Pakistan’s former foreign minister and PPP leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that PPP supporter would never accept Pervez Ilahi as vice prime minister.
According to the sources Faisal Saleh Hayat, Ghuas Bux Meher and Jam Yousuf would receive the charges of federal ministers while Sheikh Waqas Akram, Riaz Pirzada, Shehnaz Sheikh, Ayaz Shirazi and Sardar Shah Jahan Yousuf would take the charges of state ministers.
The sources said that Mustafa Malik and Raja Basharat would be federal advisers while Haleem Adil Sheikh is expected to be nominated as adviser in Sindh.
A committee has also been formed to finalize the power sharing formula between PML-Q and PPP.
PPP would get two-third majority in the national assembly after the PML-Q leaders would swear in.
PML-Q top leadership would also called on President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday to discuss the issues.
