PESHAWAR: Famous media network Express News Network and franchise of Pakistan Super League join hands for the opening edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Express New Network became the media partner of Peshawar Zalmi. Different teams of PSL selected different media partners for the promotion of franchise.
Geo News Network showed support for Lahore Qalandars and Pakistan Television Sports stood behind Quetta Gladiators. On the other hand owner of ARY News Salman Iqbal purchased the franchise of Karachi.
Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistani T20 skipper Shahid Afridi visited Army public School Peshawar and announced that Peshawar Zalmi, One of the hot favorite franchises of Pakistan Super League PSL, will take 150 students from APS to UAE to support the event.
Addressing a press conference, Afridi said that he is starting Talent Hunt program from APS Peshawar and he will give his time to young cricketers for their betterment.
He slammed his hot favorite pair Ahmad Shahzad and Umar Akmal for their worst performance in NZ tour and said that if players like them would not perform well, who would come forward? they have no other other players, hence they can predict the future of Pakistani cricket from the performance of these players.
Boom Boom said he will retire after the World T20 which is due in India this March.
