Gunships foray militant hideouts in North Waziristan, kill 12 terrorists

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan’s military gunships raided militant hideouts in the tribal agency North Waziristan, killing at least 12 terrorists in the attacks, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

Fresh air strikes have successfully targeted 12 terrorists and their hideouts in militant-held areas of the tribal agency North Waziristan, ISPR said.

Pakistan’s gunship helicopters destroyed four militants’ hideouts in the aerial attacks carried out in Datta Khel town of the agency intensifying the military operation against insurgents. Seven vehicles of the terrorists were also destroyed during the air strikes.
