Bollywood aiming to get Pakistani talent | TheNewsTribe

KARACHI: Actors and actresses of Pakistan always wish to go beyond the border and perform for Bollywood film industry. Perhaps it is considered to be the peak point of their career where they get all the fame they desire.

The couple who got fame via Pakistani drama serial ‘Hamsafar’ has reportedly received offers for a debut in Bollywood films. After gaining massive audience for their drama, the drama couple gained attention from producers and directors of Bollywood.

Rumours are that Yash Raj Camp has offered Hamsafar girl Mahira Khan a movie opposite to Ranveer Singh.  Although sources claim that Mahira has not yet approved the offer that maybe helpful to open many future opportunities in Bollywood. In an interview, she said that a lot of things would be needed for consideration if such an opportunity arrives. She also added “I don’t want to become a Bollywood star for sure, because the kind of stardom we get from Pakistan, I am very happy with that. Becoming a Bollywood actress is not something I am aspiring to do”.


On the other hand, Fawad Khan who was a leading character of the drama ‘Hamsafar’ has also been offered a movie co-starring Sonam Kapoor under the flagship of UTV Motion Pictures produced by Boney Kapoor. Earlier, this movie was set to be given to Aalia Bhatt but change of plans got Sonam on the scene. According to a rumour, Fawad Khan is ready to do the movie to be released next summer. However he earlier had said that till anything concrete he won’t announce anything.

Before the two, there have been various television stars to bag the attractive offer of Bollywood including Imran Abbas, Meesha Shafi, Humaima Malik, Meera and Sara Loren.  Besides that singer Ali Zafar has been also success story in B-town to act and sing at the same time. Atif Aslam, Roxen, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have also proved their talent in Indian Industry.

    emm its there own decision i think if they do there respective projects…. i don’t think there is such a big problem….we will love to see them working like atif ali sara & umaima bcoz in our there is no apriciation of talent….. its humble request to those who can do any thing & argue on others work… plz shut up
