MUMBAI: Controversial due to its bold photo-shoots, Model-turn-actress Poonam Pandey claimed that she refused to go nude before the camera despite getting threats to bare all.

A little disappointed over ‘allegations’ pertaining her nude stills, the actress said, “I’ve never posed nude. Even that picture that was posted of me nude after the IPL victory was morphed. I even admitted that later at the risk of disappointing my fans. I’ve threatened to go nude. But have I really done it?”

While being interviewed Bollywood’s web portal, she alleged, “I’ve seen them indulge in shameless sex talk where heroes are making pointed references to women’s body parts. What kind of example are these iconic stars setting?”

Poonam Pandey outraged the media and authorities over accusing her in promoting crime against women via provocative pictures.

The actress said, “On Friday, the day after the heinous gangrape in Mumbai I was constantly badgered and persuaded to feel guilty about the crime. Apparently my pictures are responsible for crime against women. Ha ha, really?”

“The same reasoning was used against me during the Nirbhaya case in Delhi. I want to ask all those people who find me provocative enough to induce crime, was there no crime against women before I arrived on the scene?, she added.

It is pertinent to note, Poonam Pandey has garnered the attention of her fans once again as she bares it all for a new provocative poster of her upcoming movie ‘Nasha’. In this movie, the sultry siren will be seen playing the role of a woman, who will be seen seducing a young boy.

Earlier, she became one of the Top eight contestants of Gladrags in 2010 and also appeared on the cover page of the fashion magazine as well as she shot for 29 calendars for the year 2011

She was featured in Kingfisher Calendar 2011. In 2012, she posed naked for International Business Times, after Kolkata Knight Riders, won the IPL 5.
