KU starts admission in M.Phil, PhD programs

Karachi: Karachi University has announced to start admissions in M.Phil, Ph.D and MS Surgery, MD Medicine from May 6 to May 21.

Interested candidates are advised to download the admission form and prospectus from KU’s official website (www.uok.edu.pk).

The forms can be submitted in the related departed of the varsity with the pay order of Rs2000.

Selected candidates’ list for entry tests will be released on the university official website and displayed on the notice boards of their related departments on May 25.

Those candidates who are selected for the entry test could receive their admit cards from May 27 till May 30 from their respective departments while the entry test will be conducted on June 2 at 10:00 am.

MS Surgery, MD Medicine programs are offered by the university’s medicine department while law department is offering only PhD. program.

Arts department of the university is offering admissions in Arabic, Economics, Education, English Literature, English Linguistic, History, International Relations, Islamic History, Mass Communication, Farsi, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Sindhi, Sociology, Social Work, Special Education and Urdu.

Science department offered admission in Agriculture, Applied Physics, Botany, Biochemistry, Bio-technology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Food Science and Technology, Genetics, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Micro-biology, Physics, Physiology, Statistics, Zoology.

Medicine department of university offered Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy.

Islamic department offers Islamic learning, Quran and Sunnah, Islamic Principles and Islamic Studies.

Management department offered Business Administration, Public Administration and Commerce.
