Sony PS4 release date likely in October, price around £300

This could be said the most authentic clue about the release date and price of Sony’s upcoming gaming console, PlayStation 4 or PS4.

The UK-based newspaper, The Sun, has quoted one of Sony’s official saying that PS4 release date will be somewhere around in October and the likely price will be around 300 Great Britain Pound.

We had reported earlier that Sony was likely to give first appearance of PS4 in E3 event in June.

“Brit Mr House (Andrew House) says the games console, due out in October, will feature a raft of new features to broaden its appeal beyond younger male gamers,” the report quoted Mr House.

House was basically relating the upcoming gaming console with female fans of Sony.

“We’re not going down the route of making the console pink of course… I think the key is to have people – and increasingly women – with different sensibilities creating different games. It is not all about shoot em up games.”

But the report has not made clear that whether the release date is related to European countries or North America and Japan.

I will be shocked if its 300 pound, that price seems impossible. I paid over 500 for my PS3 at launch. I’ll be happy as hell if it is 300 though, its definitely “the sweet spot” right there.
