Austria’s healing caves offer amazing cure

VIENNA, Austria: Gastein healing caves in Austrian mountains are said to treat a number of medical problems like joint pain, chronic bronchitis and other skin conditions.

These caves are acting as a cure center for the patients suffering from the medical conditions of arthritis, joint pain, chronic bronchitis and several other skin diseases like psoriasis.

The temperature recorded in these caves is 100-106 Fahrenheit (38-41 Celsius) which sweat drips from every pore of the body.

The controversial form of the therapy with radioactive radon gas is so accepted in Austria and Germany.

Around 75,000 patients yearly flock here for the radon therapy treatment, mostly belonging from Central Europe .

In 40′s, the miners who went into the mountain in search of gold were the first to discover claimed their health complaints amazingly disappeared.

However, some medical experts called it suspicious and said that high doses of gas found inside these caves could be toxic for human being and increases the risk of lung cancer but Austrian doctors say the radon cure is completely safe.

Moreover, some international universities included Leipzig University, Maastricht University and Whipps Cross University Hospital in East London has compared the patients who had taken radon treatment with others.

They observed the patients who got radon treatment found significant improvements as compare to others.
