Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday announced its manifesto for the upcoming general election.
Announcing the manifesto, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said that his party would raise minimum wages of labour to Rs 15,000 after assuming office.
The PML-N chief said his government would end the energy crisis in two years by generating 5,000 MW electricity through coal.
He said one of three main points of the manifesto was to conduct local body elections if given power.
Sharif said his party took Pakistan forward despite his both terms were interrupted.
“The coming elections are not just about change but about the future of Pakistan,” he said.
