UAE appoints ex-ISI honcho Ahmed Shuja Pasha as advisor: report

Islamabad: Former head of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Pakistan premier spy agency, Lieutenant-General (R) Ahmed Shuja Pasha has been appointed as advisor on health affairs in United Arab Emirates (UAE), a local Pakistani news agency has claimed.

“He will also help the UAE authorities in their intelligence network,” Online reports. The news agency quoting its sources added, “Ahmed Shuja Pasha has been appointed as an advisor to a ruler of the UAE.”

Ahmad Shuja Pasha was the Director-General of the ISI from October 2008 until March 2012 when he retired.
