Blunder: Slain MQM’s Manzar Imam behind Hyderabad blasts, says Indian news channel

An Indian news channel used photo of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s slain leader Manzar Imam instead of an alleged suspect behind the recent Hyderabad blasts.

The news channel was referring to a member of the Indian Mujahideen (IM), but mistakenly used Imam’s image.

Imam was killed by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan last month in Pakistan’s largest city Karachi.

At least 18 people were killed and more than 50 wounded in successive blasts in Dilsukhnagar area of Hyderabad on Thursday.
