With technology is evolving very quickly especially in case of smartphones and tablets, a hint suggests that Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Apple’s iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 will be having 5G connectivity chips.
The 5G connectivity chips include 5G WiFi, Bluetooth and FM Radio certainly a very entertaining and smoothing news for technology lovers.
According to a Evercore Partner’s analyst Patrick Wang, Broadcome, a leading manufacturer of connectivity chips, is already expecting a big surge in its share price as both technology giants will be using their chips in upcoming smartphones.
“Broadcom’s combo chip (likely 4335 with 5G Wifi, BT and FM) remains designed into Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S4,” he further said.
Samsung’s Galaxy S3 went exclusively with Broadcom’s combo chip including Wifi, Bluetooth and FM for an integrated connectivity for the smartphone users.
Wang further estimated that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5S or a cheaper model of iPhone will also go with combo chip of Broadcom.
“We believe AAPL (Apple) will use BRCM’s 43342 combo chip (a/b/g/n, BT, FM) on the iPhone 5S with a ramp starting mid-2013.”
Seems to be an exiting year for technology enthusiasts and gadget lovers with so many innovative technologies and features be introduced with upcoming smartphones and tablets from Samsung and Apple as well as from other manufacturers.
