New York: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) President Pervez Musharraf has said that he would go back to Pakistan before the general election but cannot confirm the exact date.
Addressing a party’s public meeting in New York, Musharraf said that the change was necessary in Pakistan in upcoming elections, adding that the problems will remain continue if the change did not come.
He said that Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, and Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founder of Minhajul Qurran International, had tried to fulfill the desires of the masses.
Criticising the current ruling setup, the former president said that law and order situation in Karachi, Quetta and other cities was not good and the country facing economic problems. “The current government has not worked on single mega project.”
He said that there was no tension on Line of Control (LoC).
