Is Katy Perry, John Mayer relationship in crisis?

Washington: The Firework’s Katy Perry has arrived Los Angeles without her boyfriend on Tuesday after attending the US president Obama’s Inaugural Ball in Washington.

Katy Perry and her American pop star beau John Mayer has sizzled the President’s party in U.S. Capitol Washington DC on Monday evening with a number of stars.

The famous singer was spotted when she arrived back in LA on Tuesday the morning after the party, at that time several eyes were searching for her boyfriend.

Various stars including Kerry Washington, Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz, Eva Longoria and Ashley Judd has performed along Katy Perry and John Mayer in the Ball to welcome the US leader’s second term in office at White House.

She tweeted after leaving White House: ‘Just left the White House. All other parties from here on out will be judged unless they take place at the White House.’

What a non-story. John Mayer is based in NY. Katy is based in LA. He just started singing again after his vocal problems and she’s working on a new album. They don’t have to spend every waking moment together or even in the same city to be a couple.

Maybe they really enjoy each other when they are togrther and are both independant and career minded enough to know that there are times when they will have to be apart. It’s called emotional maturity. If they do decide to wed in the future their union just might last if it is based on trust and respect for one another, including career choices.
