Washington: An American journalist Bob Schieffer on Sunday announced that Bush-administrations’ Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is joining CBS News as a contributor.

Speaking at the top of roundtable discussion on ‘Face the Nation’, Schieffer said,”Everybody knows Condoleezza Rice was President Bush’s Secretary of State but I’m highly pleased to announce she has a new job. As of today, she’s joining CBS News as a contributor.”

Rice will “use her insight and vast experience to explore issues facing America at home and abroad,” the network said in a statement.
