Govt forms 4-member delegation after Tahir-ul-Qadri’s ‘final’ deadline

Islamabad: Pakistani government has formed a four-member delegation to negotiate with Minhajul Qur’an chief Tahir-ul-Qadri after the cleric gave a ‘final’ deadline to the government for dialogues.

The delegation includes Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Farooq Sattar, Pakistan Muslim League-Q’s Chaudhry Shujat, Pakistan People’s Party’s Khursheed Shah and Awami National Party’s Afrasiab Khattak.

Earlier, the Canadian-Pakistani cleric gave a 90-minute (till 3pm) deadline to government for dialogues.

He said that Thursday (today) was the final day of sit-in, adding that people would take their rights by themselves. He said that he was giving final deadline to the government till 3:00pm Thursday (today).

“We will finish it by the end of this day…today…today…today,” he said.

     I think enough is enough. Government is not willing to listen to these Pakistanis who are there is this cold weather peacefully. People need to change their strategy now, otherwise they will stay there for months.. This government is that one that they did not go Quetta when 87 bodies were lying on the floor. They do not bother about their poor people. GET RID OF THEM.
