Lahore: Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N have agreed to bring a joint resolution against Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri in Punjab Assembly.
The consensus was reached during talks between the two parties on Thursday at the provincial capital.
It was agreed that Shaukat Basra and Zulfiqar Gondal will table the resolution in the assembly to declare the actions of the emerging politician unconstitutional and undemocratic.
Earlier, PPP parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly, Zulfiqar Gondal contacted provincial minister Malik Nadeem Kamran and discussed the proposed move.
Sanaullah challenges Dr. Tahir
Lahore: Law Minister, Punjab Rana Sanaullah has said that he can easily defeat chairman Pakistan Awami Tehrik, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri in the polls.
“I can prove that Dr. Tahir does not qualify as a politician under Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution,” he said.
