Pakistan President takes notice after 8 targeted killings in Karachi today

Karachi: President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari has expressed anger over the badly deteriorated law and order situation in the largest city of Pakistan and ordered arrest of the culprits.

The meeting underway at Bilawal House in Karachi is being attended by Chief Secretary, CM Sindh, IG police, DG Rangers and other concerned authorities.

The meeting is reviewing targeted killings and the post-scenario of attacks on polio teams in the city.

A deadly spate of killings underway in the city for long claimed lives of six people in just an hour, bringing the death toll during on Monday to eight.

Residents of Quaidabad, Manghopir, adjoining area of Northern Bypass and several other areas have been left on the mercy of targeted killers armed with all sorts of weapons.
