Pakistan additional commissioner jailed over ‘insulting’ top official

Islamabad: An official of Pakistan government has been sent to jail after he reportedly ‘insulted’ the federal ombudsman of the country.

News sources said that Additional Commissioner (Inland) was sent behind bars for three months and fined after he allegedly used insulting remarks against the aforementioned official.

It said that the commissioner will have to face additional 15 days in prison if he does not pay the fine.
