Karachi: Minister for Prison Affairs, Manzoor Wassan has said that the central jail of Pakistan’s largest city Karachi is under threat of major terrorist attack during the Christmas and new-year celebrations.
The minister revealed on Monday that criminals can carry-out a major assault on the jail to free more than 50 inmates belonging to banned outfits.
Wassan said that they are deputing personnel of Pakistan Rangers and Frontier Constabulary to beef-up security at the said jail.
