Islamabad: Hundreds of anti-polio campaigners staged sit-in outside the Prime Minister’s secretariat to protest against heinous killing of their fellows workers and poor service structure.

The demonstration commenced Saturday from Supreme Court of Pakistan and culminated outside PM’s Secretariat.

The Lady Health Workers demanded that the culprits behind the killing of their fellow workers must be arrested at all costs and adequate security arrangements should be made to avoid such incidents in future. They also pointed out that they have not been regularized despite a lapse of 17 years.
