Lahore: The medicine manufacturers association of Punjab has announced to close down their factories to protest against ‘biased approach’ of authorities on the poisonous syrup case.

The association said on Thursday that the issue is being mishandled and they have become the victims of discrimination. They demanded that the laboratory report in the case should be made public.

It may be noted here that 19 people had lost their lives owing to the intake of deadly Tyno cough syrup, sparking hue and cry in the most populous province of the country.
