Ogra conducts several raids to nab LPG sector profiteers

Islamabad: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has initiated action against the profiteer companies of the LPG sector.

The authority on Monday issued show-cause notice to several defiant companies. In the next stage these will be fined and will ultimately get their licenses cancelled.

Spokesman Ogra, Farrukh Nadeem confirmed the news, saying enforcement department of the company has conducted several raids in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in this regard.

He said that the authority had set the price of 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder at 1,479.
