Lahore: A number of eminent Pakistani journalists, politicians and human right activists have expressed severe concern over the assassination attempt on Geo News senior anchor Hamid Mir.

Condemning the heinous action of planting a bomb underneath his car, more than a few media personalities took to twitter, lashing out at the deteriorating security situation and expressing solidarity with Hamid Mir.
