Islamabad: An explosive material packed in a black bag recovered from underneath of senior journalist and anchor person Hamid Mir’s vehicle .
According to a Geo News, the explosive was planted inside Mir’s vehicle and it has been defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad.
Hamir Mir while talking to the television said that the driver of his neigbours pointed out the presence of a suspected black bag inside his vehicle. He said that he called the BDS to defused the bomb.
The BDS said that about 1/2 kilogramme explosive was used in making of the bomb. “We have also recovered ball bearings, batteries and detonators from the bag.”
He is also a news anchor, terrorism expert, and security analyst who regularly participates in international conferences.
