Islamabad: River Jhelum that once lured great number of people from around the world has lately been losing its charm amid Indian government’s negligence, sources said.
A private TV news channel reported that the river famous for its beauty and further signifies Kashmir’s scenic valley, is now surrounded and littered with garbage. The beauty symbol now presents view of a garbage collection point.
The channel said that while Indian suppression in Kashmir is no secret, its disregard to natural beauty has also come in the open. People of the valley demanded that the originality of the river be revived and its beauty made exemplary in the world once again.
