Peshawar: Five people were killed as a car they were traveling in was indiscriminately fired upon in the jurisdiction of Regi police station of the city.
Police said that all of the passengers in the car died instantly. According to sources, the deceased were returning from a Jirga (decision-making forum) and had money controversy with some people.
The incident is bound to escalate tension in the province that has already been declared as ‘most sensitive’ during Muharram-ul-Haram.
