Crackdown against Balochistan doctors as crisis escalates


Quetta: The crisis between Balochistan government and doctors has aggravated as the former has announced to launch crackdown against the latter on their prolonged strike against the kidnapping of medical professionals.

According to sources, secretary health Balochistan said that they have written to the concerned department to seize salaries of the protesting doctors, while show-cause notices have also been issued to them. Government has also decided to take action against unregistered hospitals in the entire province.

It may be mentioned here that doctors had announced to continue their strike even on the 9th and 10th of Muharram against the abduction of Dr. Saeed Khan, following which essential instruments and medicines have been provided at CMH Peshawar.
