Tunisian Foreign Minister reaches Gaza to show solidarity

Gaza City: The Foreign Minister of Tunisia, Rafik Abdessalem has arrived in the war-hit Gaza city in an effort to show solidarity to the oppressed people of Gaza.

The minister is on a visit to Gaza as part of a delegation to offer support to Hamas and increase Arab pressure on Israel.

An official Tunisian delegation visiting Gaza is led by the minister of foreign affairs, Rafik Abdesslem including 10 government ministers.

The director of the presidential cabinet is also present in the high level Tunisian delegation.

“The visit is in confirmation of Tunisia’s initial position to provide all political support for Gaza,” the spokesman for the Tunisian president, Moncef Marzouki, said in a statement.

Earlier, the Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil visited Gaza where he showed his complete support to Hamas and also visited the patients in local hospitals located in the city.
