President Zardari telephones MQM chief, extends Eid greetings

Islamabad: Pakistan’s President and PPP Co –chairman Asif Ali Zardari Sunday telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and extended his Eid greeting to the party chief.

According to sources, both the leaders in their telephonic meeting discussed the political situation in the country.

The acts of terrorism and law & order situation on top of other matters of bilateral interest also came under discussion, the sources added.

They also vowed to help each other in dealing with the challenges and difficulties facing the country.
