Imran Khan arrives in New York after humiliation at Toronto airport

New York: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Friday has arrived in New York, a metropolitan of United States, after being humiliated by U.S. officials at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Earlier, the PTI chairman was off-loaded from a U.S. flight bound for New York. The officials inquired the chief about his stance on drone attacks.

Talking to media in New York, Khan said, “The countries which do not respect their citizens are humiliated in the same way as I was.”

He further said that a Pakistan would give respect to all the citizens.

“The officials inquired me about drone strikes,” he said adding that the officials did not apologise for their behavior.

If Imran thinks he was humiliated by us officials, why did not he come back to Pakistan instead of going to New York.

Whether or not the drones are an
effective weapon to curb terrorism and kill the terrorists is a matter of
opinion. Many, even in Pakistan, consider them the last resort to deal with the
menace because the area where terrorists have established safe havens is not
accessible by a regular army. But treating drone criticism as blasphemy is not
at all in line with what the Americans are so proud of; the core values of the

  Pakistan remains blinded, like always. Entire Country is reacting to Malala, what about 100′s of other innocents dying! Truth is Pakistan supports Terrorism. Bin Laden was found hiding, Taliban are killing innocents. If US wouldn’t help, Pakistan wouldn’t even take 1% effort to get rid of terrorists. Another girls school was destroyed and was claimed by Taliban! Did we do anything to fight back!! Jago Pakistan!!! Warna dunya mein Zaleel hotey Raho aur Muslims ko budnaam kartey Raho!!

This is like when Shahrukh Khas was “interrogated,” only worse. I am a political person. I think Imran is a fantasy ally of the US in its fight against extremism. This humiliation was wrong.
