Karachi: MCB Bank has provided Rs 2.4 billion quality notes to be disbursed through its largest state of the art network of ATMs during Eid holidays, said a statement issued by MCB Bank Ltd.
MCB Bank has made special arrangements to keep its ATMs network across country functional during Eid holidays.
A network of around 700 ATMs on an average attracts, 80,000 transactions per day while on special occasions like Eid holidays, it crosses 120,000 transactions per day which is around 25% of the total national banking system transaction strength.
MCB network is keeping ATMs’ up time of over 93 % as per international standards while the bank has made arrangements to keep it above 95% during Eid holidays.
Like Eidul Fitr, MCB Bank, as per guidance from State Bank of Pakistan has deployed heavy duty UPS for ATMs to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity while generators as usual are available for back up.
Similarly additional staff has been deputed to feed cash, as soon as the cash finishes in machines and special teams have been made to monitor the performance of ATMs.
Remote banking teams would continuously monitor the performance of ATMs and rectify withing a minimum stipulated time, if a machine goes down.
