Dow Chemical accidently sent a draft of its press release to Bloomberg News reporter, forcing the company to announce a restructuring programme on Tuesday.
Dow had intended to announce the 2,400 layoffs on Thursday morning along with quarterly earnings, Reuters quoted a source, who declined to be named, as saying.
