Karachi: Karachi police on Saturday claimed to have killed four alleged dacoits in an encounter in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city.
According to police, four dacoits barged into the house of Ali Mudassir near Disco Bakery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal 4 area. Police rushed to the sport as a bakery owner informed the them about the dacoits entering the house.
Heavy contingent of police exchanged fire with the robbers, killing four of them while two managed to flee.
Bodies of the dacoits have been taken to a hospital for medicolegal formalities.
